University of Toledo National Invitational Sales Competition
PSO Helped to place Temple University in 3rd place in the University of Toledo National Invitational Sales Competition The competition, sponsored by 3M, simulated a multi-stage sales call focused on industrial manufacturing products. Competitors were tasked with selling 3M's VHB Tape to both an industrial reseller and a commercial bus company in a series of 15 minute role plays judged by corporate sales leaders.
Sixty students from thirty different universities competed in the competition. Temple, being the only university participating without a formal sales degree program, outperformed Florida State University, which is the number one ranked sales program in the county. Their placement was the product of Fox competitors, Leah Baker and Jacob Hacker’s combined scores. Leah Baker, a junior, advanced through five role plays, making it to the final round and placing fifth. Jake Hacker, a freshman, advanced to the semi-final round placing in the top 10. Harry Yazujian excelled as a student coach for Leah and Jacob.

FOX Sales Challenge: PSO is currently developing a proposal to establish a new sales competition in Philadelphia and building partnerships with Philadelphia schools and corporations.
